watering plants

I was given money and cute earrings for watering plants while they went to Colorado. Although the plant watering was in the hot sun, it wasn't that bad, but I did get that tick bite which is now inflamed and itching. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor on Tuesday morning to check for lime disease.

Erik said that he could take off my spoiler which I would really like, but I don't know how he knew that? I can't remember if I mentioned it to him. The only problem is filling the holes in the hatchback; I don't know how he will figure that out. He never mentioned this weekend but did the spoiler. I don't get it.

The King and I

Last night Holli felt sick because the air hadn't worked in her office that day, so she didn't want to go to starlight. Kama took her ticket. Then Holli called me back saying that Brandi forgot about it and didn't want to go, so I started calling more friends. In the end, my mom, Kama and I went to Applebees and then to the play. I didn't get home until midnight then I had to water the plants in my grandparents yard. It was a late night, but it was fun and the costumes were beautiful as was the set.

One of the people I left a message for about the play was Erik; he called me back at 11:30 and left a message saying that he was busy at work but maybe we could get together this weekend. I wonder if he is serious or just saying it. It would be fun to hang out with him this weekend.

Today at 3pm I am going to meet with his dad. Maybe Erik will be there and we can make a plan.

Feeling Better

Today I am feeling better about these life decisions. I am pretty sure that I want to get an apartment with Ashley and Carrie, assuming that they will want to live together. I talked to Megan last night and she said that I probably don't need the stress of home ownership and depending on my roommates to pay the mortgage. I think she is right, but I will keep praying about it. Other parts of life just take time to figure out; I think God will show me what he wants me to do and open and close doors about all the things that are confusing me. Megan said that she thinks that Ashely and Carrie will really like each other. It will be fun to have roommates my age again. It will be like a constant slumber party. I think I will like living with people much better than living alone because I tend to get lonely. (Not that I can afford to live on my own.) I would really like to get to know Erik better; he is so gorgeous and nice.

Tonight I am going to Starlight with Holli and Bill and Kathy's niece Brandi. We will also eat at Applebee's I think I will have to pay for us because Holli took the bill at Bravo the other night which was much more expensive because Brandi ordered so much wine. I hope she doesn't tonight.

House?

Well, I was thinking that it might be better to buy a house, so I got all excited about it and found a cute one on Saturday, but this morning, it doesn't pull up on the search. This is a little weird, but if it is sold, it is God protecting me and closing the door. I really need direction. I was so wound up thinking about it last night, I couldn't sleep; I'm sure I was still up at 3 or 4 this morning.

Kappa Kappa Gamma

This is so exciting. My chapter, Gamma Alpha, at K-State just won the national best Kappa chapter award. It makes me feel good. Although I have been out for a year. It takes a few years to build a house. I feel proud to come from such a good house. I have always thought Kappa was the best house at K-State; this just affirms my opinion.

Also, Erik came to hang out with my friends and me last night. We went to Rachel and Lynn's appartment. Devon and Jeff showed up too and we all played pictionary. Erik said he liked my friends. Erik is cool; it will be fun getting to know him better.

The house hunt.
Carrie said she would like to meet Ashley and that she doesn't want a 30 min. drive to work. So I have been searching on the internet and I think I might have found a good place; lots of space, affordable, and close to the highway. It is Villa Monterrey off 86th St. I want to go by and check it out.

Tonight I will need to go by and check on the flowers. No one here seems to know if it rained last night.

Apartment Hunt and Butt Tick

Watering their flowers is interesting. Erik called asking about putting away the hose. He has a nice voice.

This morning when I woke up, I brushed my hand across my bum and felt a weird lump. This concerned me. As it turns out, I think it is a tick and was sucking my blood all night. I called the doctor to see if I could have the tick tested to see if it is a carrier of lyme disease. I really don't want to get it. I might go in in a week to have a test done. I hear that it isn't as bad if you catch it and treat it early. I have the tick in a plastic sandwich bag in my desk.

Lake and Loan

I'm leaving work at 4pm to go to the lake with Megan. It will be an interresting weekend. I'm tired.
